Q. What can EZ Password do for me?

A. EZ Password Manager has two purposes:

1. Manage all your account's passwords into a single database and stored the passwords in a securely 128bit encrypted database.
2. Use the password database to automatically fill username & password field in a web page or any password protected application.

Q. Does EZ Password Manager work with all applications?

A. Yes it does. It has a superior integration with Internet Explorer, but it work as well with Netscape, Opera or any applications asking for passwords: telnet, ftp, mail program, etc.

Q. How does EZ Password detect which account to use?

A. EZ Password communicates with the application to get its window title and select the account associated with that information. For example, the hotmail window title is "Hotmail - The World's FREE Web based E-mail - Microsoft Internet Explorer", if an account has the same exact title, EZ Password will use that information. EZ Password can also communicate with Internet Explorer and get the URL of the current page and select which account to use accordingly.

Q. What are the differences between functionalities of evaluation and the registered version of EZ Password Manager.

A. The evaluation version has all the same features of the registered version. The only difference between the two is the registration reminder window and splash screen showing up in the evaluation version.

Q. What are the difference between Netscape 6 "Password Manager" functionality and your product.

A. Netscape 6 can automatically fill passwords for the user, but it's no password manager. Netscape misguide the user by calling its "password remembering" functionality a "Password Manager". Netscape can remember the user's passwords and type them automatically in web pages accessed through its Browser, but it is not possible to access the stored password afterward. So it is still required to keep track of all your passwords on paper. EZ Password Manager fills the password information automatically, but unlike Netscape, it also provides "complete" management capabilities of your passwords (consult passwords and accounts information, print list, import accounts, generate passwords, set expiration dates, etc).
